WHO'S HELLSTORM??
The picture to the left is obviously me.(However that picture is 5 years old I look the same except short hair)
I'm the new Hellstorm.
The original Hellstorm was a comic book character that was started in the late seventies
or early eighties. I'm not sure which book had his first appearance
but he mainly got started in The Defenders comic books. The defenders
were kinda like a second rate team of sorta super heroes. The Defenders
were Hellcat,(who later became Hellstorms wife)The Beast,(from the X-men)
Overmind,(who knows?)Valkyrie, The Gargoyle, and a few other nameless heroes.
Originally he was called Daimon Hellstrom. When he was in the Defenders
and when he had his book called The Son of Satan. Hellstorm is the son of the Devil.
Unhappy with this knowledge he sets out to destroy his father become a
hero. Using the powers given to him because he is the Prince of hell,
Hellstorm becomes a pretty well known hero. Meanwhile in hell his father
feeling especially betrayed is plotting ways to kill Daimon and give his
power to another demon. In the early nineties Marvel released another series
called Hellstorm. I have all 21 issues that actually ran. Throuout this
series Hellstorm takes on all sorts of Demonic creatures sent by his father
and other nobles of Hell. His wife Hellcat(or Patsy) has gone insane from seeing
Daimons true form. She dies in the later issues. Then she starts talking to Daimon from Hell.
In one issue Hellstorm even manages to take escappes from Hell and breaks them
into Heaven. After watching the escappes be absorbed into one conciousness
with no personality of their own, Daimon condemned Heaven for taking away peoples
individuality. Then the endgame of the series starts with Daimon killing his father
(THE DEVIL!!) and taking the black halo as ruler of Hell for himself.
About three issues later Marvel cancelled the comic book. If you'd like to know
